Does Quentin Tarantino CORRUPT His Audience?
There was a time, believe it or not, when filmmakers were literally bound by contract to produce films that were morally and ethically sound (The Hays Code 1934-1968).
Hollywood producers knew that the messages people absorb via film, television, and music are hugely impactful - and they took their influence seriously. Yet at the same time, censorship is wrong, Censoring art is the equivalent of censoring a person's own mind.

RYAN GOSLING - WHY?

Simply asking the question, why is the actor Ryan Gosling continually picked for leading roles in Mainstream movies. He is not a financially bankable movie star, he has been involved in many films that have flopped. His name attached to a film does not guarantee it will be successful. He has not won any major acting awards. He is not considered to have a wide range of acting skills leading to h...

Al Pacino's 5 Most Underrated Films
Hi ms 13
One of the best scenes ever. Love it when Bruce Willis was going to leave and was like , I can't let my boy go out like that. Awesome scene.
That man really had a Good taste for movies
The narrator could learn to pronounce Camus or Francesco.
absolutely
That's the beauty of great cinema. You can like or even love characters who're the kind of persons you would still never wanna know in real life
Bellaqui 10👅

Yet at the same time, censorship is wrong, Censoring art is the equivalent of censoring a person's own mind. The title of this video is 'Does the film director Quentin Tarantino corrupt his audience?' This is a question that Quentin Tarantino himself, has already answered. In his own book 'Cinema Speculation' Tarantino stated “It takes a magnificent filmmaker to thoroughly corrupt an audience.” It is very clear that Quentin Tarantino believes that the best filmmakers can take their audience and captivate them into following characters that are morally corrupt. Why does Tarantino populate his movies with such morally dubious characters, and what does this say about us, the audience, who revel in his corruptible creations?
Bro is that Cloudkicker playing?
This dildo made 3 min seem like 20min my god get to it man
What a disappointing list, pure first-year film student all the way. I was hoping there'd be at least ONE film I and every other film buff hadn't already seen, like maybe the list would include Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, or the Welles film would be Mr. Arkadin, or something. But nope! Straight down the middle, all the way through.
Ryan Gosling ROCKS ❤❤❤❤😊 all the movies he's in make it better
Nasty hater. Gosling is a fine actor.
"Box Office Flops" Er, excuse me?! By any measure, this man's films are successful. Gosling has won a Golden Globe Award, and nominations for three Academy Awards and two BAFTAs (British Academy Film Awards). Hollywood is littered with extraordinary actors yet to ahve received an award. This account appears to be run by muppets. 🙄
Yes I see the point here. He's often as dull as ditchwater. He seemed so, in interviews. Now, though, after Barbie, the Oscars, and SNL, he has acquired a bit of personality. Just, a bit. Not sure about the acting. I doubt he cares. It would be difficult to tell.
guess you missed The Believer, The Big Short, The Good Guys etc...
Yep, don't care.
Ryan Gosling is a quality actor, who's done great performance and shows interest and commitment to the craft of acting. He's also someone I like to look up for as a man. He's super cool and usually presents himself defending the moral side.
Very question: he does nothing for me, just like Tom Hardy,,,both replaceable, boring, no emotions in their eyes and no X factor,,,Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, Hackman, Dicaprio...etc,,, those are actors that shows believeble emotions...
Respect for the man but...Richard Gere? you had a poster in your room?
Disagree with many things you say and frame here
Seriously. What is this woman’s deal?
Watch The Believer he can play emotional
He was selected from the crop of Disney machine kids that included Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Keri Russel, etc. He’s the film version of a corporate plant in the music industry. Manufactured fame for an easily controlled asset.
Now thats a good observation!
playing a jewish neonazi in his early 2o's? total disney plant profile guess you missed The Believer, The Big Short, The Good Guys etc...
Nah. Don’t be angry girl. Sending good Kenergy.
First comment! I love Ryan in movies.
Pope of Greenwich village... Both Eric Robert's and Mickey Rourke were phenomenal... Still one of my favorite... Because of both of them
Pierce Brosnan should have had another Bond movie.
who else? hollywood leading men right now.... slim pickins
How would’ve been better
He's a great example of millennial masculinity which is basically masculine yet sensitive and understanding. Also a man who will go down on a woman without being asked
What about timothee haha
@@attackofthecopyrightbots He's no really a millenial
He is not a bad actor, but he is not particular great one either, very little charisma, just not got it in regards to being a leading actor, and always just plays the same type. Also seems to get a free pass with box office flops. Guy must have a secret spell on casting directors, as he keeps getting all the big roles from elite directors.
It's not deep. He's a good actor with an interesting face and voice.
Adam Driver is just 'cool' in every role he got, and the flops he was in, we don't really care, because at least his performance, with what he had to work with, was done to the best of his ability and it shows. He's alright, sometimes he's real good.
I don't believe that king derived the it story from Nightmare on elm st. Quentin Tarantino does take parts from many films to make his movies !!!
Fincher wasn't a high school student when Lucas was filming American Graffiti. Filming began June 26th, 1972. Fincher was born in August of 62. So he would have been 9 when they were filming. Research; it's not that hard to do.
This narrator says The Exorcist is the only horror film to grace the list, but also mentioned Alien (1979) previously. If Alien isn't a horror film ...
I'd have loved if Tarantino described what he finds so great about the movie. He just says it made money back when movies didn't do that... and? What about the atmosphere was great, where was it scary, what about it makes it so great?
Magnolia and boogie nights are absolutely magnificent ❤❤❤
Great choices❤❤
I wanted to like Cabin Fever. I really did. But no. The ending was admittedly funny-if inappropriate.
"James Bond Nerd" doesn't like Brosnan. Lazenby is the biggest fucking whimp bro. Worst actor
I am glad to know all the films David Fincher watched and like, I myself watched and like too.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That story about John Lovitz was funny because it was *exactly* my experience watching the movie. Well, a little different. I saw Steve's name in the opening credits (we were good friends in HS and when we were in our 20's) and I wondered what he played - but then I never saw him so I stayed to watch the end credits to see who he played.
I almost threw up when i first saw this scene as a teenager back then.
Fantastic movie 🎬 ❤
The song that was playing in the basement when they are assaulting Ving rhames was originally supposed to be My Sharona, but they couldn't afford it
1. Connery 2. Dalton 3. Brosnan started off great with Golden Eye, but his other 3 movies sucked. 4. Moore had a couple watchable movies but got too silly overall. 5. George and his one Bond movie was good. 6. Craig started off strong but went woke and lame.
one of the best posters.
Big judgements for someone who hasn't seen Furiosa yet. Let's wait to see it before we throw shade
I saw it and this video is exactly right
@@samuelthompson-dz3rd So you didn't like the movie? Yeah it had a few bad CGI parts, but the world building is magnificent
Who wrote this shit?! They have not seen Furiosa and they are making comparisons with Fury Road and making predictions?!!! They criticise the latest film for the amount of CGI, without knowing the extent, using a computer generated voice!!!!! The shear hypocrisy! Moviola, you suck.
This is hugo talks talking.. This film is a political statement.
